| The Active Ageing Festival (AAF) is all about celebrating a whole new realm of choices and activities for seniors. It is an education and outreach campaign aimed at encouraging seniors to embrace a new concept on what it means to grow older. Through the Festival, Council for Third Age (C3A) will introduce seniors to a variety of activities and experiences that will lead them on the journey to an active lifestyle. To encourage a broad spectrum of seniors to embrace a lifestyle that is both stimulating and fulfilling, the Festival includes a number of engaging events such as an Active Ageing Carnival, Active Agers Awards and Grandparents' Day. Through the festival, C3A hopes to communicate that "seniors have choices" and provide the impetus for seniors to embark on their active ageing journeys. |
